1. Scope
These terms govern your use of GolfCut, the Windows software (the "App"), and the website golfcut.net (the "Site"), provided by [Operator name] (the "Operator"). By installing or using the App or purchasing a Pro license you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Products and plans
- Free: every analysis and review feature without limits. Highlight export is limited to 3 clips and carries a "GolfCut Free" watermark.
- Pro: a one-time purchase (currently US$49; the amount shown at checkout applies). Exports every clip without a watermark and can send problem reports from inside the App. Up to 2 PCs may be activated at the same time.
- Plus: a subscription for Pro owners (monthly or yearly; the amount shown at checkout applies). While subscribed you get taste recommendations learned from your reviews, detector-model updates and new sports as they are added. The subscription renews automatically at the chosen interval; you can cancel at any time from the Payment Provider's customer page (My Orders) and keep using it until the paid period ends. After cancellation or expiry, Pro, the models already downloaded and the settings you applied remain yours; only new recommendations and new models stop. Up to 2 PCs may be activated at the same time.
Plans and prices may change. A Pro license you already bought is kept as described in section 4.
3. Purchases and payment
Pro licenses are sold through Lemon Squeezy, LLC, acting as Merchant of Record (the "Payment Provider"). Payment, taxes, invoices and the execution of refunds are subject to the Payment Provider's terms and privacy policy. After purchase, the license key is emailed to the order address. Refund conditions are in the Refund Policy.
4. License
The Operator grants the purchaser a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App.
- One license key may be active on up to 2 PCs at the same time. Use "Deactivate on this PC" in the App to move an activation to another PC.
- You may not share, sell, publish or redistribute your license key.
- You may not bypass or tamper with license verification, or reverse-engineer or decompile the App beyond what applicable law expressly permits.
- A Pro license does not expire. It includes every update and bug fix within the major version current at purchase (for example 1.x). The next major version (for example 2.0) is a separate purchase; existing customers will be offered a discount.
- If the license ends through refund, cancellation or a breach of these terms, the key is deactivated and the App runs as the Free edition. Nothing on your PC is deleted.
5. Online verification
The App checks the key with the Payment Provider's license server when you activate and periodically afterwards (an attempt about every 7 days). Pro keeps working offline for up to 30 days after the last successful check; after 30 days without a check the App runs as Free until the next successful check. A cancelled or refunded license becomes Free at the next check. Plus subscription keys are checked the same way; once the renewal date passes, only the Plus features pause until the next online check confirms the renewal. What is sent is listed in the Privacy Policy.
6. Your footage and responsibility
The App processes your video only on your own PC and never sends it to the Operator or any third-party server. You own your footage and everything you make from it. You are responsible for having the right to record and use what appears in it (people, places, music) and for how you share or publish the results.
7. Prohibited use
- Sharing or selling license keys, bypassing verification, redistributing or renting the App
- Sending excessive or abusive requests to the Operator's systems, including the problem-report endpoint
- Using the App in a way that breaks the law or infringes the rights of others
8. Open-source components
The App contains open-source software: FFmpeg (LGPL 2.1 or later, bundled as a shared-library build; source is available from ffmpeg.org and the build provider), MediaPipe (Apache 2.0), ONNX Runtime (MIT), an ONNX conversion of OpenAI CLIP (MIT), silero-vad (MIT), PySceneDetect (BSD-3), Electron (MIT) and the Pretendard font (SIL OFL 1.1). Each component is governed by its own license; notices are in the App's installation folder and in each project's repository.
9. Disclaimer of warranty
The App is provided "as is". The Operator does not warrant that it will run without interruption or error, or that it will find every shot, green or moment correctly. Automatic detection can miss or misidentify scenes; you confirm the results on the review screen. Consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law are not affected by this section.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Operator's total liability in connection with the App is limited to the amount you paid the Operator in the preceding 12 months, and the Operator is not liable for indirect or consequential damages such as loss of data or profit. This does not apply to damage caused by the Operator's intent or gross negligence.
11. Termination
The Operator may end your license if you breach these terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
12. Changes to these terms
The Operator may change these terms; the changed terms apply from the effective date published on the Site. Material changes that are unfavourable to you will be announced on the Site or in the App at least 7 days before they take effect.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes are first addressed through [email protected]; if unresolved, they are heard by the court having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act. Consumers in other countries keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of their country of residence.
